LIST OF POSTERS BY POSTER SESSION

As outlined in the Scientific Program, there are 2 poster sessions planned. Poster Session 1 starts on Monday at 4:15 p.m., and Poster Session 2 starts on Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. For the lists of posters click the above given links.

FULFILLING YOUR OBLIGATIONS

Dear participants,

We wish to remind you that IMMC6 is less than a month away.

We ask all participants who have paid their conference fees but did not register at our website to take time and finish the registration in order to prevent possible difficulties upon arrival to Registration desk.

We ask all participants who did not yet reserve accommodation to quicken the procedure due to limited number of rooms available and the deadline (two weeks before the start of the Conference) after which we cannot guarantee room availability. This matter is important because September is traditionally filled with various Trade Fairs and reserving your hotel room may become difficult if not done on time.

All participants needing Entry Visas should finish the Conference fee payment urgently in order to receive an Invitation Letter and make the application on time. Please ensure all fees are paid with bank option AUR, which must be written next to the amount. It makes the payment successfully completed only after the full fee has arrived to our bank.

All participants who do not require a Visa to enter Croatia but did not pay their Conference fees should confirm their participation by sending a short note confirming their arrival. You can do this also by sending an email at immc6.loc@gmail.com. This will reserve your spot at the conference.

Participants who did not pay their meal fee can still finish the payment at the Registration desk upon arrival. We emphasize that individual meal arrangements in Hotel Antunovic and Hotel Holiday are not preferred. Paying the meal fees also enables you to attend the scientific excursion and the closing ceremony dinner party.

We encourage all presenters from the scientific program announced at our website to send their PowerPoint presentations at immc6.loc@gmail.com (this will help you avoid a queue and make sure your presentation is virus free). Alternatively, bring it on a USB stick to the Conference Registration Desk.

SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM AVAILABLE

The scientific program (.pdf - 134kB), a detailed time table of all presentations and times of important conference events, is now available online. Parallel sessions taking place simultaneously are divided into Rooms A and B. Full name of presentation and the assigned presenter is included. We have prepared this program carefully, but please inform us of any errors (e.g. different presenter, presenter double-booked in two rooms at the same time, etc).

EARLY-BIRD REDUCTION DEADLINE PASSED

As the June 1st deadline passed, full conference fee of 370 Euros (150 Euros for students) is now in effect. Paying incomplete amount will result in registration not being completed properly. The meal fees, which include lunch and dinner, science excursion and the meal at the excursion, as well as the conference closing banquet and dinner party remain at 150 Euros. APPROACHING DEADLINES, JUNE 1

The Conference Organizing Committee wishes to remind all participants who have not yet paid the registration fees to take the opportunity of early-bird fee reductions. After June 1st, the registration fee for the IMMC6 conference will be raised from 300 to 370 €, 100 to 150 € for students. The meal fees will remain unchanged. MYKO EXPO, SEPTEMBER 24-27, 2011

Myko Expo is the International Medicinal Mushroom and Mushroom Products Trade Exhibition, an integral part of IMMC6 conferences, highlighting the many practical results of the medicinal mushroom sciences and technology. This year it will be opened to the general public for the first time, along with a program of educational presentations - and all of it is free for visitors. This initiative will help promote the basic information about the medicinal values of certain mushrooms and products made from them, and familiarize the public with some of the economic potentials of growing and processing these mushrooms.

Exhibitors, please keep in mind we have limited space, please make sure you reserve your booth soon. See more here. Additionally, to help spread the information locally, this information is also available in Croatian language.

SECOND ANNOUNCEMENT IS OUT

The Second Announcement (pdf-962kB) for the IMMC6 conference has been completed and is available online at this site. A wealth of information - from conditions needed to register, how to pay for the conference, get a hotel room at discount rates, obtain an entry visa, see the program of the conference, learn more about MYKO EXPO trade exhibition, etc. - is now available in a single document.

FULL LIST OF ACCEPTED ABSTRACTS AVAILABLE

All titles of accepted abstracts can now be read here (pdf-213kB). Please check if your work is included, correctly put in the poster or oral presentation category and all authors correctly credited. Should you find any errors, contact us with the correction.

WEBSITE UPDATE: PRACTICAL INFORMATION ADDED

We have added a lot of additional information regarding the practicalities of visiting Croatia - from the climate in late September, electricity, transportation to currency exchange and entry visa information. Read it here.

RELATED EVENT: ICMBMP7 CONFERENCE

The 7th International Conference on Mushroom Biology and Mushroom Products (ICMBMP7) will be held just a week after IMMC6 in Arcachon, France and a lot of IMMC6 and XVI CEM participants may be intersted. Read more in Related Events.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION CLOSED

As of March 1st all abstract submissions are officially closed. The 115 abstracts received thus far will be reviewed and prepared for publication in the Proceedings by the International Scientific and Interational Publications committee, respectively. As mentioned in the deadlines, we expect all abstract submitters to be informed of abstract acceptance by April, 1st.

HOTEL RESERVATION AVAILABLE

The Conference Organizers have completed all arrangements regarding accomodation during the conference. All registered participants can reserve a room at preferential rates by visiting our Accommodations and following the instructions there.

IMPORTANT DEADLINE CHANGE

The deadline for abstract submission has been moved to February 1st. Please make sure to email your abstracts BOTH to Conference Organizing Committee and Professor S. P. Wasser before the closing date.
